It's Salone time again! CRA is excited to share our contribution to this year's Milan Design Week.

From the world's first Internet-of-Things sofa created with the support of VITRA, to a project with Transsolar that could mitigate climate change in cities, to an innovative digitally-fabricated stool for Miocugino workshop, and a seres of talks around the city... Come and celebrate wth us during Salone del Mobile!

WORLD'S FIRST INTERNET-OF-THINGS SOFA
TO DEBUT AT MILAN DESIGN WEEK

Designed by Carlo Ratti Associati (CRA) with the support of VITRA, Lift-Bit is a modular, Internet-connected furniture system that allows a sofa to seamlessly turn into a chair, a chaise longue, a bed, a lounge room, and a myriad of other configurations.

Images and press release are available on the website Lift-Bit.com

Lift-Bit draws on the potential of Internet-of-Things (IoT) technologies to transform our interior landscape, giving form to an endlessly reconfigurable environment. Come and try Lift-Bit at Milan’s Triennale, within the "Rooms. Novel living concepts" show organized by Salone del Mobile.Milano.
