Men’s Group breakfast. All men are invited to the Men's Group monthly breakfast in the sanctuary this Saturday, April 2, at 8:00 a.m. Chad Nelson will be cooking breakfast.

Upcoming Adult Sunday School class. Beginning this Sunday, April 3, all members are invited to a new adult Sunday School class. John Tesch will be leading a class using a study guide published by Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota entitled "My Neighbor is Muslim—Exploring the Muslim Faith." The class will run throughout April and into May.

Want to become a member of Abiding Grace? We will be receiving new members during worship on Sunday, April 10. To become a member, please complete the membership form available in kiosk at church or online. Clean the Church morning. The monthly cleaning of the floors in the worship center is at 9:00 a.m. this Friday, April 1—no fooling! It goes quickly if enough people come. If you can help, please stop by.

Grace Café. Jesse Grimmer and Laura Hopkins have been hosting gourmet dinners in their home to benefit our youth ministries. The next dinner will be Saturday, April 2. April's menu will be vegetarian. The suggested donation is $50 per person with all proceeds supporting our youth. Sign up at church or contact Taylor.

Chili Cook-off. Everyone is invited to participate in our second annual chili cook-off on Sunday, April 10, after church. Bring a pot of your favorite chili to share and compete for bragging rights. Bowls, crackers, cornbread, corn chips and beverages will be provided. Please indicate if the spice level of your chili (mild, medium or hot) and if it is gluten-free. Join in for some deliciously fierce competition!

Volunteer with the SPCA in Dallas (Saturday, April 23: 3:30-4:30). Tour the SPCA’s new facility and learn about animal care. We will do a service activity for the animals at the SPCA. Activities include coloring adoption signs to hang in local retailers, playing with or reading to the dogs, and making dog and cat toys. If you're interested, RSVP to Taylor so that she can determine the number of tours we need to reserve.

Members counted their blessings during Lent by saving coins. Those coins and other offerings were received on Easter and totaled $750.31 for ELCA World Hunger Relief. Thank you!
