April 2016

Spring!
Spring is definitely here, there are Chiffchaffs everywhere, and even the odd Swallow has been seen. We are experiencing typically changeable spring weather, but things are definitely growing...

Looking good now:
We have lots of potfuls of spring things ready to burst into bloom in the next few weeks.  Wood anemones have already started, Dicentras are in bud, and forms of the electric blue Corydalis will be along soon. We've selected some of our favourites below.

Geraniums:
Lots of customers have been asking about stocks of Geraniums recently, as some varieties have sold out over the winter.  Please be assured we are busy splitting and potting, and new stocks should be ready in the coming weeks.  If you would like to be kept informed of when a particular variety becomes available, you can use the 'Notify me' option on the website.  You will find this on the main description page for each plant, located just under the price.

Miscanthus
A funny time of the year to mention autumn flowering Miscanthus, especially as we have cut most of them down to the ground over the last few weeks.  However, now is THE best time to plant, giving them the whole summer to establish.  We have a good selection available at the moment.
