In Case You Missed It! April Round Table on Homelessness
Those working in the affordable housing industry know that stereotypes of homeless populations are not representative of who is really affected. Families, single parents, children and at-risk groups are increasingly impacted by the lack of affordable housing in the state. This month’s round table discussion brought together professionals to uncover the emerging demographic trends of homelessness in Colorado. See what you missed at this month's round table event

What to expect as the legislative session comes to a close
Though there are only two weeks remaining in the 2016 Legislative Session, Colorado’s need for affordable housing continues to be a central issue under the Dome, and several pertinent bills are expected to be introduced in the near future. The result of extensive bi-partisan and cross-chamber negotiation and compromise is a housing bill package containing six legislative proposals that address both affordable housing funding and construction defects reform. To learn more about this pending legislation and what is expected to unfold before session end on May 11, click here for our 2016 Pending Legislation Summary.
