Midwest Model United Nations 57
Sheraton Westport Lakeside Chalet
February 22-25, 2017

A Note from the Secretary General

MMUN 56 recently ended, but MMUN 57 will be upon us before we know it. My dedicated, outstanding staff is already hard at work preparing all the necessary materials for a successful, educational, and fun experience for you and your delegates. The passion and enthusiasm of this year's staff is sure to produce some amazing results, and I for one, can't wait to show you what we have in store for you!

If you are not already aware, MMUN has found a new place to call our conference home, the Sheraton Westport Lakeside Chalet. We hope the move will help us facilitate a better conference.

We always look forward to the opportunity to have new schools and new delegates participate in MMUN. If you know any schools or programs that may be interested in attending, please share this newsletter and our contact information with them. I'd be happy to answer any questions and can be reached at: sg.mmun@gmail.com.

MMUN staff provides a great opportunity to learn important leadership and communication skills from the other side of the dais.  If you know anyone who would make an exceptional staff member, please encourage them to apply. We are eager to welcome new staff to our wonderful network of staff with diverse backgrounds in areas of international relations, business, law, national security, medicine, history, information technology and beyond! MMUN staff is a great way to build both professional connections and personal friendships. A link to the application can be found in the right-hand column.

Thank you for your commitment to MMUN!

-Matthew
