This week at SOTH

As we reflect on the texts from last Sunday, the second Sunday in the Easter Season, we remember that the resurrection is about relationship: Relationships like the one between the Chittakhone family and Shepherd of the Hills; relationships like the ones our young people will develop this weekend at the Be Like Jesus Servant Event; relationships like those that will be renewed and celebrated as we prepare for our 50th anniversary celebration May 1.

May God's abundance and grace surround and support all our relationships this Easter season.  Amen, alleluia!

Opportunities

Thanks to the large donation of food to CHM, they will now be opening their Food Pantry to residents of St. Ann within the Ritenour School District.

Be Like Jesus 24 Hour Servant Event will be happening Friday April 8 - Saturday April 9 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  SOTH will be sponsoring a blanket-tying workshop led by our Stewardship Committee during the morning and afternoon on Saturday, April 9th.  Please contact Kim Surratt if you would like to help with this workshop

Monthly Bible Study beginning Sunday, April 17 after worship.  Using Gather Magazine’s Bible Study as our guide, we will explore the book of Philippians.  April’s session is titled: Christian Citizenship 101 – Paul’s Letter to the Philippians.  All are welcome.

St. Louis County Community Chorus will present “A Tribute to American Music” on Sunday, April 24, at 3:00 p.m. on the Chaminade campus.  You can see George Marvin, Jim Urnes, or Joan Carnaghi for tickets.
