Milwaukee LF Ryan Braun had a single Tuesday in a 12-3 loss to the Giants. He also tossed out a runner trying to stretch a single into a double.
Dodgers CF Joc Pederson stroked two doubles in a 15-0 laugher over San Diego, including a "blistering" RBI shot in the 6th inning. Said announcer Vin Scully: "All of the Dodgers [players] were applauding young Joc. So he's a good kid, his teammates like him, and they were thrilled for him."
Oakland 3B Danny Valencia punched an RBI single the A's within one, but the White Sox prevailed 4-3.
Blue Jays CF Kevin Pillar didn't get a hit, but he did end up with one of MLB.com's Top 5 Plays of the Day with one of his patented concussion-defying catches (see video below).
