Cathie Bleck
On view through April 30
An internationally respected artist best known for her distinctive works in clayboard, Cathie Bleck’s visual narratives relate to both our past and present human conditions. Using fine knives, her lyrical forms are carved and scraped through layers of inks and handmade pigments, revealing the white of the kaolin clay beneath.
The spotlight gallery highlights a collection of works showing the evolution of her medium, including small to large works in scratchboard, clayboard, clay on papyrus and limited edition prints. MORE
