Our family is growing!
WE'RE NOW SEEKING A COLLABORATOR FOR A NEW CO-DIRECTOR.
We are so proud to announce former Network Coordinator, Katherin Canton, is now co-director with EAP. Yep, this means we are seeking applicants for the Co-Directorship position, and we are trying out a new leadership model for EAP SF/BA! (See details below.)
Everyone send Katherin a big, warm CONGRATS! Her work and efforts are exemplary of the love she has for Bay Area Arts and our communities, whether it's the arts, our neighborhoods, and of course, the network. Bravo!

Position Summary:
The Co-Director will be part of a newly created pair of high level positions for EAP/SFBA. The Co-Directors will work in collaboration to manage, direct, and grow the programs and network. They will be responsible for day-to-day and long term strategic administrative and programmatic management. Guidance will be provided by the 2014 Strategic Directions Framework and process recommendations from the 2015 Organization Assessment and the Advisory Board and volunteers.
Timeline and Process: To indicate interest, please submit a resume, 3 references, and cover letter to the EAP/ SFBA Search Committee, jobs(at)emergingsf(dot)org, no later than May 1, 2016, applications will be reviewed upon receipt. Interviews will be conducted in May. The Committee plans to hire a new Co-Director and initiate the organizational transition in May/June.

The Flight Deck is a shared performance venue in the heart of Downtown Oakland where artists of all kinds work, play, and learn. It houses several arts organizations and features a theater, rehearsal studio, gallery and co-working office. We are located at 1540 Broadway, between 15th and 17th Streets.
Ragged Wing Ensemble’s mission is to catalyze a deep cultural shift where artistic action is at the center of vital social change. We aim to connect artists and audiences through the ritual of live performance, exploring universal questions that span the ancient and contemporary. We engage in the study and practice of Ensemble, collaboratively creating new, interdisciplinary works and activating the next generation of artistically engaged citizens.
The Oakland Symphony, Youth Orchestra and Chorus bring together orchestral music, choral music and youth education to strengthen the Oakland/East Bay community by providing quality live performances, education for lifetime enrichment and the perpetuation of the performing arts.
