My Voice My School Survey Raffle (Open April 1st)
Win $100, $75, or $50 at the Book Fair!
This year we would like to provide a "thank you" to all the parents that complete the survey. We are encouraging as many parents as possible to complete the survey online. Each parent that completes survey (paper or online) will be able to receive a raffle ticket on report card pick up (4/13). The computer lab will be available during report card pick up as well. In order to receive your raffle ticket:
- Hand in your paper survey (handed out at report card pick up) in the Computer Lab and complete a raffle ticket.
- Hand in the print out from the submission screen you encounter at the end of the online survey and complete a raffle ticket.
- Complete the online survey in the computer lab on report card day and complete a raffle ticket.
Winners will be announced on at the conclusion of report card pick up night.

Amundsen Track and Field Event
Friends of Amundsen is hosting a track and field meet for interested 6th, 7th and 8th graders that attend the elementary feeder schools to Amundsen. The event is on April 10th.Check out the Link for more information and to register.

Coonley Summer Camp
Coonley is once again offering summer camp! Registration has been extended to April 15th (and June 15th for incoming kindergartners). Please check out the website for more information.
PARCC Testing
CPS Parent Letter
This spring 3rd-8th grade students will be taking the PARCC test. 3rd -5th grade students will begin testing the week of March 28th. 6th-8th grade students will begin the week of April 4th. Homeroom teachers will provide a more information about each homeroom's individual testing schedule. Although this year PARCC is not the official CPS test (currently NWEA MAP) that will determine grade level promotion and selective enrollment scoring it may be as soon as next year. We hope that all Coonley students take advantage of this opportunity to experience this test so that they are comfortable with the format.

Updated Ribfest Volunteers
Volunteer at Ribfest June 10, 11, and 12, and earn money for Coonley! For each volunteer shift, Coonley gets $50, and the volunteer gets $10 worth of tickets! In addition to Friday and Sunday night volunteers, we are looking for Gate Captains (outgoing people who ask people to donate to the fest upon entry) for each shift of Ribfest. Please fill out the attached form and return to Lindsay Hagy (lmh612@yahoo.com) right away so that we can reserve these fun volunteer spots for Coonley!
