Message From The President
Boys and dolls...
|

Dear Friend,
I was overjoyed when my wife gave birth to Grant, our second son, in early March. My only concern was how Bennett, our two-year-old, would react. Would he get jealous like the son of a friend of mine who threw blocks at their baby or would he throw tantrums and shriek “I AM the baby,” like another toddler I know?

My Favorite Things
CMEE's Maintenance Associate, Fernando Jarrin
|
|
After working at CMEE part-time for five years years, Fernando Jarrin joined the full-time staff in February of 2015 as the Maintenance Associate. He took a few moments away from making sure the Museum is running smoothly to share some of his favorite things about working here.
My Colleagues: Not only do we all get along and have an incredible amount of fun, but everyone is so supportive. I'm currently studying graphic design and they make sure I can balance work and school.
The Kids: I love watching them grow up. I get to see a whole new life start, grow and change. It does make me feel old sometimes, but I’m OK with that.
Our Community Events: It's hard to pick a favorite, but I always enjoy the Halloween Bash. I like seeing everyone dressed up and playing a different character. There are always some amazing costumes on display.
