Toss it Right - DPS Recycles
Durham Public Schools and Keep Durham Beautiful recently won a grant from the Carton Council to help expand lunchroom recycling in our schools. DPS is currently looking for Recycling Ambassadors to help launch this lunchroom recycling program in several elementary schools throughout April. We are looking for volunteers to monitor lunchroom recycle bins for the first week of the campaign. As a recycling ambassador, you would help the school’s Environmental Champion instruct the students in proper carton and juice box recycling.
