University Row 2016
Tickets for University Row at Virginia Gold Cup on Saturday, May 7, are on sale now! Click here to buy yours - don't wait, tickets WILL sell out! This year we have 4 pickup locations, 2 in DC (Madhatter in Dupont, and Union Pub in Capitol Hill) and 2 in Arlington (Highline in Crystal City, and A-Town in Ballston).  Admission only (no transportation) tickets and parking passes are also on sale for those who choose to drive/carpool. Buckeye Evening in the Capital

Next Wednesday, April 6, The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. and Ohio State Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. invite you to a Buckeye Evening in the Capital, featuring Dr. Valerie Kinloch, professor of literacy studies and associate chair in the Department of Teaching and Learning as well as director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion in the College of Education and Human Ecology. Join fellow alumni for dinner and a presentation from Dr. Kinloch, in which she addresses the importance of focusing on access, diversity, and justice within urban communities and the U.S. educational system.

John Glenn Washington Academic Internship Program Outreach
The John Glenn Washington Academic Internship Program (WAIP) is looking for mentors and possible internship opportunities in Washington, DC. The Program is expanding into the international agency fields, and environmental policy areas. Without the support of local alumni, this program would not be as strong as it is.

This summer, WAIP will be hosting its largest class of fellows. We need your help with mentors.  Area of interests for this class of fellows are:
  • Agriculture, sustainable food, school lunch program
  • Criminal justice
  • International (education, policy, justice, etc.)
  • Budget/finance in the public sector
  • Think tank/research
  • Labor policy/pro-union policy
  • Environment and sustainability
  • Government affairs
  • Defense/security/intelligence

OSUDC Softball Team 
It's almost softball time! We are currently forming our team for the 2016 season of Capital Alumni Network softball, and we want YOU. We are looking for men and women players, and we're also looking for help in managing the team. Email Jeff at athletics@osudc.org for more information.
