Joyce Tawney memorial gifts
The WCA is deeply honored that the family of Joyce Tawney, long-time Wilmot resident and beloved first-grade teacher, designated the WCA as the recipient for memorial gifts in her name. She loved the summer beach program at Timothy Patten Park, which all her children attended. With the memorial gifts it receives, the WCA will ensure that Joyce’s kindness and service to the community will not be forgotten. [More]

Concussions are in the news - May 12
This important topic will be covered at the next workshop in the David White Safety and Wellness Series. Established in memory of Wilmot's former police chief, the series covers a wide range of safety and health-related topics for all ages. This workshop will focus on concussions - how to prevent them and their potential danger and effects. Especially pertinent for student athletes, we want to help parents be proactive about this issue.  The workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12. The program is hosted by the WCA with experts from New London Hospital and Lake Sunapee Region VNA and Hospice.

Red Barn closed May 19
