Study Highlight | NeoCart

NeoCart is an innovative technology used to treat cartilage injury. It is a two step surgical procedure. During the first surgery, the patient's cartilage is harvested and sent to grow in the lab. It is then implanted during the second surgery. To date, we've enrolled 3 patients in the NeoCart trial.

Our first patient was randomized to NeoCart in November and we have two surgical cases coming up in April. We are actively enrolling patients in this trial at both the University of Minnesota and TRIA.

Congratulations to Dr. Marc Tompkins. In early March he presented his outstanding work on early weight bearing following meniscus repair at AAOS.
