Pledge today to the Studio Channel Islands 2016 Annual Fund Campaign!
|
|
Dear Members and Friends,
Studio Channel Islands is a non-profit organization that provides the community with a cultural hub for working artists with over 40 studios, first class art exhibitions featuring both local and national artists in our Blackboard Gallery, Meet-the Artist programs, docent tours, symposiums, and workshops for all ages.
We are in the midst of a transformation and on the brink of an exciting future. My vision is to build on the core principles of what our Founders initiated in the late 90’s. That is to create a hub where artists, art enthusiasts, and community can come together in one place to innovate, create, educate, and experience an eclectic offering of all forms of art. Our Studio Artists work in a multitude of media, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewelry, weaving, printmaking and much more. They are actively involved in community art events, such as school tours, workshops, and art camps for both children and adults. All of this has a profound ripple effect reaching into our communities with economic and social benefits making them more dynamic places in which to live and work. These creative experiences develop attitudes and skills vital for life long learning for all ages.
In addition, to developing our programs, we need to rebrand and update our physical asset which is comprised of tired buildings from an Elementary School that was closed by the Pleasant Valley School District years ago. We are so grateful that the School District was able to lease us one of their historic campuses so that we can establish an art destination for our local and regional communities to experience and enjoy.
That’s where YOU come in! By pledging today, you will help us evolve as an organization and allow us to serve our community better. The benefits of transforming our campus into a one-stop art hub, to share new experiences, educate children and adults about the arts, and to give back through outreach is priceless. By helping Studio Channel Islands you’re investing in the long-term future of our community.
Our goal is to raise $10,000,000.00!
Any amount you’re willing to donate will be greatly appreciated!
