Proposition AA
This June proposition AA will be on our ballot. All nine Bay Area counties will vote on a $12 parcel tax dedicated to restoring wetlands, habitat and water quality in San Francisco Bay. This is the first time all nine counties will be voting as a region. The tax would raise $25 million a year for 20 years and requires 2/3 voter approval.  In addition to supporting habitat restoration it will help wetlands get ready for sea level rise. The League of Women Voters Bay Area supports this important measure.
