Thank you to those who are already registered for the Lyrids Folk Dance Festival in Burnaby, BC, coming up in less than 3 weeks. Not registered yet? Please register by April 8, especially if your registration includes a meal. All meals will be catered and we need to know numbers by then.
Dancers attending the festival are not only local but are coming from Alberta, California, Ontario, New Jersey and as far away as Australia and India! Wonderful!

Roberto Bagnoli, George & Irina Arabagi have a special selection of dances planned that are primarily circle and line dances along with a few simple partner dances. You will be happy to know that they have all agreed to allow a Quickie DVD to be made available to all festival attendees. These can be ordered at the festival for $15 each.
Also remember our pre and post festival events. Before the festival, Roberto Bagnoli will be teaching 7-10pm on Tuesday, April 19 in Burnaby, and 7-10pm on Thursday, April 21 in Surrey. These events are $10 each. After the festival, on Sunday evening, is the After-Party which includes dinner, at Dale's house in Surrey. Roberto will be there! RSVP please. Suggested donation $10. Attendance limited to 40 people.
Our new Lyrids tote bags will be available for purchase at the festival shop.
