Gear up to comment on the Portland Harbor Superfund
Later this month, Portlanders will have a chance to comment on how to cleanup the Willamette River Superfund Site. Our Board voted last month to support the recommendations of the Community Advisory Group (or CAG) and Native Tribes because we feel their interests are likely to be most closely aligned with our neighbors. We invite you to learn more and comment when the time comes! The Portland Mercury summed up the issue pretty well HERE. We will also list opportunities for public comment when the time comes on our Facebook page and website
P.S. We still need some help flyering the neighborhood! Twice per year, we flyer to inform residents of neighborhood events - such as movies in the park, the neighborhood clean-up, etc.  We'll need need flyers distributed as soon as sometime between April 6th-17th.
Benefits: exercise, getting to know your neighbors and feeling good about helping out in the neighborhood. Dog walkers welcome!

If you live between or near N. Lombard and N. Bryant and N.Seward and N. Bryant (or are willing to walk around a new part of the neighborhood), we are especially looking for your help this year. We haven't had anyone living in this part of the neighborhood volunteer yet to distribute door-to-door flyers, so if you are willing please contact Sharon Parker at sharonparker@prodigy.net. She'll need need your address, email or phone number so she can set you up with details.
