Keeping Tabs
secret location

Web stars

I'm putting together a website for Keeping Tabs, so I've been having some site envy as I look around the Internet. One site that stands out and makes me want to click and scroll through everything is content studio Secret Location. There are plenty of shiny things, but it's also just fun seeing what's going to happen next. Aside from the strong imagery and great colors, the responsiveness is what clicks for me. When you hover over something it shimmers or shakes; it feels like a unique experience.

Companies get creative

  • So this isn't exactly mind-blowing, but Nissan's car brochures are way more fun to flip through when you get to move the pages and click on certain features and information on the page.
  • Samsung's VR gear page is sleek, but pretty simple. VR is some next-level tech so you'd expect a website to be anything but boring.
  • Squarespace-style sites get a lot of flak, but I wanted to make space for these with an example of a simple site that I find enjoyable enough to scroll through. I can't be the only person who appreciates Squarespace for upping the standard of a generic company webpage. (Promise they are not sponsoring this, but if anyone from Squarespace is reading this, let's talk! #builditbeautiful)
