How your money will help the homeless in Dublin
"Housing is the first thing a homeless person needs. The support of Calcutta Run will enable Peter McVerry Trust to house Dublin's most vulnerable by providing funds to renovate empty units across the city. Peter McVerry Trust is focused on not only securing houses but creating homes for those that we support. The funds raised in 2016 will be specifically put towards the renovation costs and providing items such as home starter kits for the new residents." Father Peter McVerry speaking recently at the launch of the Calcutta Run  - The Legal Fundraiser in the offices of Arthur Cox.
6 Week 5k Training Plan from Jim Davis, former Olympic Coach and trainer are available online to help you prepare for the run. There is also a 10k Training Plan for those who are feeling more adventurous and seasoned runners. Find these as well as nutritional and sports injury prevention advice on our website.
