the essence of  yoga

with  Sri Dharma Mittra
Acclaimed Yoga Teacher;
Founder,
Dharma Yoga

Tuesday, April 12 | 6pm
Green Hall, Great Room
Princeton University

Drawing from the wisdom he imbibed from his guru, Sri Swami Kailashananda (Yogi Gupta), and from almost fifty years of dedicated practice, Sri Dharma Mittra reflects on the thread that runs through the classical forms of yoga practice and the 8-limbed system presented by Patanjali.  He presents yoga s both graceful and challenging, appropriate for students of all levels, and accessible because it meets students where they are. Sri Dharma Mittra's teaching highlights the essential core of yoga practice--from first steps to  the ultimate goal of gaining absolute knowledge of the true Self.

The event includes a gentle asana demonstration. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket if you have one. A limited number of blankets will be available to borrow. Light refreshments and hot tea will be served.

Free and open to all. No registration required.

Green Hall is located on Washington Road, between Nassau Street and William Street. Free Parking is available in Lot 10 (located on William Street, behind Green Hall).
