Pro Tip: These days we're getting all sorts of questions about Snapchap, the mobile messaging app that lets users share photos, videos, and text messages that disappear immediately after viewing. We've long counseled extreme caution for youth ministers on Snapchat because of the platform's one-to-one messaging paradigm and lack of a permanent record of who shared what.

That started to change when Snapchat released My Story. This feature allows users to share public updates that stick around for 24 hours. Read more about a teacher using Snapchat and check out this how-to for nonprofits.
