Foshay AOF BREAKING NEWS TODAY AT 11:30 !

At the top of the list, we have several Finance students at the White House today!   Jason (whom some of you have met at our Board Meetings) and Lizeth are members of our school's Robotics Team.  The team has won a national prize and will meet with President Obama today.  Here's a link to the event which will be streamed live at 11:30 PST --  https://www.whitehouse.gov/live

• In other news, we welcomed the new Class of 2019 Freshmen who were selected to join the academy in the Fall.
• Finance Seniors wrapped up their USC class at the end of February. 
• Finance teachers attended the CPA Annual Conference in Sacramento the first week of March. 
• AOF AB member, Stayce Wagner, came to Foshay to present a Business Etiquette Workshop with the Finance Juniors.
• Several AOF Seniors attended the Women in Public Diplomacy Conference at USC recently -- read more about it and other AOF events at twitter.com/FoshayAOF
• Pictured above are Sophomores who were selected to attend a USC event- Trojans Reaching Young Entrepreneurs (TRYE) !

• Finally, AOF Senior and Student Leadership Board CEO Jason was accepted into several top universities including USC, Columbia and Harvard. Foshay AOF Grad, Board Chairperson, and Harvard MBA alum  Creighton Taylor hopes Jason makes the "RIGHT CHOICE" !  :) Jason also is waiting to hear from the Gates Foundation about their Millennium Scholars Program (GPS).  The GMS program provides recipients with leadership development opportunities, mentoring, academic and social support as well as financial support--Full Scholarship!!  Jason moved to the final round and we'll know if he is awarded the scholarship in a few weeks. 
• Other Foshay Seniors have so far been accepted into USC, Mount St. Mary's, UCLA, Oxford and Stanford and various CSUs and UCs.
