Chancel Choir & Orchestra Present:
Haydn's Mass in Time of War

Sunday, May 1 | 9:00 & 11:00 am | Sanctuary

 The Chancel Choir & Orchestra will be presenting Haydn's Mass in Time of War at 9:00 and 11:00 am. There will be no 8:15 or 9:30 services that day. Featuring soloists: Karen Kenaston-French, Sarah Collier, Linsley Liburd II, and Ruben Romero. Come worship and hear this dramatic masterwork and invite your friends!

Organ Restoration Video

A video will be shown featuring a PBS special of the restoration of the largest theater pipe organ in the world. While the organ restoration project at FUMCA is not quite to scale as this, it gives great insight into the intricacy of rebuilding an organ. Contact Sean Hale for reservations.

Methods Worship Series for Young Adults

The Methods Worship Series is a gathering of young adults for worship, study, and fellowship on the first and third Sundays of the month. At 5:00 pm, we’ll meet in the Chapel for worship and study. The topic and speaker will be different every week. At 6:00 pm we’ll walk to a local restaurant for fellowship, food, and discussion!

Linsley Liburd is UTA music education student that regularly sings tenor in our Chancel Choir. Linsley will be giving a recital with other UTA music students in the Chapel. Donations will benefit our organ project.

Sign Up: Away We Go

10:00 am-3:00 pm | Meet at the church
Away We Go to the Dallas Arboretum. Bus leaves the church at 10:00 am and returns around 3:00 pm. Lunch included in the price ($25). Call or stop by the church office to sign up.

All camps are open to church members, visitors, and our community. Though each camp is age-specific, we offer many camps throughout the summer so kids of all ages can participate.
