It is with great joy and gratitude that I invite you to the final concert of First Inversion's second season. Your support has enabled us to produce six engaging concert cycles as a thriving new community of singers, committed to deepening relationships with great music, with each other, and with you, our audience.
In just a couple of weeks, we will share works by twelve women composers from the seventeenth through twenty-first centuries. Our program includes pieces ranging from an early motet and a sacred cantata to folk song arrangements and social justice anthems. Soloists, Kearstin Piper Brown and Andrea McGaugh will sing works of Undine Smith Moore and Clara Schumann.
I look forward to welcoming you at our concerts on Saturday, April 23, 8PM, and Sunday, April 24, 4PM, both at Downtown Presbyterian Church. Thank you again for continuing to make First Inversion a reality through your attendance and support. We couldn't do it without you.
In Peace and Joy,
Lee Wright, founder and artistic director
