Experience art! Do good! Have fun!
You can do all of these things at the same time by joining us at compARTE’s Charity Art Show benefiting Little Artist BIG ARTIST. The show’s exhibiting artists have graciously donated a piece of art to be raffled, with proceeds going to Chula League. That means even more “big artists” will be helping future Little Artists grow their creativity and confidence.
- THE DETAILS: Friday, April 15 from 7 to 11 pm at Cement Loop, 5811 Berkman Drive. Suggested donation is $20 and includes one raffle ticket.
- THE ARTISTS: The show will feature work by Adrian Aguilera, Federico Archuleta, Kel Brown, Lindsey Wilder Flatt, Michael Anthony Garcia, Paloma Mayorga, Mercadorama, Jonathan Rebolloso, Deborah Roberts, Beth Consetta Rubel, Caleb Tracy, and Natalie Villarreal.
- THE LINKS: To view work by exhibiting artists, check out CompARTE on Facebook. For event details, see the CompARTE event page.
Many thanks to the fine folks at CompARTE for supporting Little Artists!

See our Little Artist creations
The Little Artists are putting the finishing touches on their work and getting everything ready to display at our Spring Art Show. Help us celebrate them and their hard-working Big Artists at a family-friendly opening reception on Thursday, April 28, from 6 to 8 pm at Imagine Art @ ReNEW East Arts Complex. You’ll get to see collages, photographs, jewelry, paintings, woodwork, metalwork, prints, and more by 29 fifth- and sixth-grade Little Artists from four East Austin elementary schools, as well as work from our 23 Big Artists. We’ll also have music from the Maplewood Ukulele Choir, Allison Dragon Choir and Blackshear Violin Orchestra. See our Facebook event page for a preview of the art. We hope to see you there!
