THEY DON'T WRITE 'EM LIKE THAT ANY MORE

Offshore Banking Business - they don't write them like that anymore. The protest song by punk bank The Members that's suddenly been brought into sharp focus by a worldwide financial scandal the Panama Papers. It started as a doodle on a bank clerk's desk in 1978 and became the unlikely follow-up to the Members' suburban anthem, Sound of the Suburbs.

This 38 year old song has  proven so popular they have rushed out a special new Mix with extended Dub Section. Also a Group of Members Fans have started a Facebook group to promote the record to No1. The Best way to do that is of course to buy it digitally from iTunes or Amazon.

WHY AREN'T NEW ACTS  REVOLTING
It's interesting to note that specific issue protest songs don't figure in contemporary public broadcasting, the charts or the repertoire of modern pop artists. Is that because today's artists don't care or because protest songs are out of fashion? Or is it because nobody wants to stick their head above the parapet and write something that's current and controversial?

They don't like write them like that any more - but they do. The Members have just released their fifth studio album "One Law" featuring 15 reggae, pop and punk rock songs. Dealing with subjects as topical and complex as austerity, gentrification, internet addiction, suicide and mental health, the new Members album One Law is a protest album that demands and rewards attention.
As they say in the adverts, if you if you liked Offshore Banking Business, you'll love One Law.
