This is an interesting project. It's an open source project designed to collect data and study near-extinct vultures. Only the outer shell is 3D Printed, but it is still an interesting application of 3D Printing.

OLO - The First Ever Smartphone 3D Printer

OLO - Kickstarter

This is a very neat Kickstarter that is doing incredibly well. It's a tiny 3D Printer that involves your smartphone. It seems to be really well designed. Despite the fact that most 3D Printer Kickstarters have failed, I am always excited to see new and innovative projects.

Homemade Gatling Gun

Solidsmack - Joerg Sprave

This is pretty damn neat. This guy made a homemade gatling gun. He 3D Printed some components which saved him a lot of cash. One of the coolest DIY projects I have seen.
