Flow... does it work?
Circulation is a vital part of a good outdoor design. It effects everyone's experience of your outdoor spaces. Circulation includes pedestrian and vehicular circulation, as well as connections from inside to outside, from different outside spaces to one another, and from public property to your private property.
- Is it easy to move through your property?
- Are the steps between your outside and inside comfortable at all times, even when your arms are full of groceries or you are carrying a full tray of beverages?
- Can you access your outdoor entertainment area with ease?
- Do your kids trample through a garden bed to reach their play area?
- Does your dogs have access to where they need to go when they need to go?
- Do delivery vans always ride up over your plant beds?
These are the types of situations where my creative problem-solving skill shines. My customized design for your property will improve its circulation as well as other practical and aesthetically pleasing aspects. My design will enrich your life by increasing your love of your outdoor spaces. If you'd like to have me come brainstorm to give you new ideas and a new perspective, give me a call at 610-896-8444.

Spring Tip #1:
Do this NOW!!!!!
In all my years of gardening, there is one think I will guarantee that will happen: By fall you will not remember where your spring-flowering bulbs are planted. So... photograph the locations of your spring bulbs now, before they disappear!
Fall is bulb-planting time for all the spring beauties: daffodils, tulips, crocuses, snow drops, blue bells, dwarf irises, hyacinths, grape hyacinths, Siberian squill.
As you photograph, notice where you could use more, or where a larger variety would be nice (color, size or timing). Consider the views from inside your house, as you will enjoy them form inside as well as outside. When fall arrives, you will be so glad to have the spring photos... guaranteed!
Spring Tip #2: NOW is the time to buy outdoor accessories!
The biggest and best selection of outdoor accessories is available right NOW in stores and online. From larger items such as outdoor furniture, umbrellas, storage chests and fire pits, to smaller details, such as cushions, pillows, rugs, lights, torches, gardening tools, and outdoor art.
This weekend I received notice of an Outdoor Living Sale from Houzz.com. Great selection and a range of prices. Check it out here.
And while on Houzz.com, you can visit my page by clicking here.
If you are one of my clients, please feel free to add a review, if you'd like.
