NEWS: Hottest February on Record

NASA data revealed that the average global temperature in February was 1.35C warmer than the average temperature between 1951-1980. This is a huge, record shattering amount that is a far bigger margin than has been seen before.

With the Paris Agreement still in people’s minds it’s a stark reminder of how tough the struggle to keep global warming from going over the 2C danger limit is going to be. This winter has also seen arctic temperatures as high as 16C over normal.
