Develop Visitor Facilities at Azraq Lodge (5,000 JOD)
Through the development of eco-tourism in protected areas, the RSCN aims at creating employment opportunities and providing socio-economic benefits to local communities. This helps encourage greater community support toward protected areas and discourage activities that threaten nature, such as overgrazing and hunting, in addition to creating financial returns that contribute to nature conservation programs. Not far from Azraq Wetland Reserve, Azraq Eco-Lodge receives visitors throughout the year.
Azraq Eco-Lodge needs to build a secure warehouse to store some of the materials and tools used in its eco-tourism operations, such as maintaining bicycles and storing mattresses, extra beds among many other items.

Nature Knights Program
One of the educational programs that launched by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature and targeting students (male and female) from the age of 12-15 years. The program aims at building a generation connected to the reserve and qualified scientifically and technically to support nature protection activities. The program consists of five stages where students carried out at each stage a number of activities that qualify to reach the next phase. During the fourth stage, participants recognize the work of the various departments in the reserve, where each participant has to spend working day in each section, and during the fifth stage the participants were distributed to different sections each according to his inclinations and coordinated by the supervisor of environmental education in the reserve, and in the end stage participants submit a report on the nature of the their work in the section that has been chosen.

Blackbird
The blackbird is very common species, it is distributed from Iberia throughout temperate Europe, to Russia, and through Turkey, northern Iran, and the Himalayas, reaching into China.
The Adult male blackbird is totally black; it has a bright golden-yellow bill, while the Female is brown in color. This bird can produce a wide range of vocalizations, including a loud 'pli-pli-pli' alarm call, to the fluty, melodious song.
The black birds can inhabit a large range of habitats, from city centers to woodland. It feeds on fruits, berries, earthworms and a large range of insects.

“Bowhead whale” is considered the longest life span animal in the world, which can live for more than 200 years.
