An Ongoing Monthly Group for Quilters—Fox guides with tips, tricks, and trouble shooting as you build your independent quilt project using silk fabrics. Meets the first Thursday of each month from 10 to 4. Each meeting is $35 with a suggested 3 month minimum. 6 and 12 month discount cards available. Class size minimum 4 to maximum 8 students. Intro to Longarm Machine Quilting. (4) One Day classes from 9-4: Saturday Sept 17; Tuesday Sept 20; Saturday Nov 19; Tuesday Nov 22. Cost of $100 includes additional 6 hours of FREE practice time on charity quilts. Class size minimum 2 to maximum 4 students.
In this hands-on one day class, you’ll learn how to confidently operate a Gammill Longarm Quilting Machine. Fox shows step-by-step how the machine works– from loading the quilt on the frame to threading and needle considerations and basic free motion quilting designs. Students will ‘longarm’ a charity quilt –start to finish-- during the class. (This class is required in order to RENT time on the TDS Longarm machine.) The 12x12 Challenge (12 artworks in 12 months, measuring 12”x12”) resumes on October 1, 2016.  First Saturdays every month for 12 months with the times to be determined. Sliding Scale cost for 12 meetings is: $275 to $400 per year. Group size min 8 to max 12 participants. Prefer a weekday class? With a minimum of 8 people we will schedule a class during the week.
Explore your personal design goals and develop your creative muscle in 12 monthly meetings over the course of a FULL year. Work in any medium, using techniques or themes of your own choosing. Individual Art Share and group discussion on predetermined topics each month.
