In two recent blog posts, our newest Research Technician, Alex Wick, shared an insightful description of one of the best parts of his job: working in the field. Reserve Director Mike Vasey has been traveling the State sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge of manzanitas after the recent publication of A Field Guide to Manzanitas: California, North America, and Mexico (Backcountry Press, 2015). Read more about it in an interview with Bay Nature Magazine.
