Don't miss out, sign up now for our upcoming 20th Annual Jack Dow Tournament in honor of our founder Jack Dow. The deadline for registration is Saturday, April 23. In this fun, social event there are separate divisions based on a player's rating (2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0). Men and women can play in a maximum of two events, men's or women's doubles and/or mixed doubles. I've played in this tournament in the past, and win or not, I've always had a great time. Here is a link to our website for more information. 

The Hughes Clinic is taking place April 28th 12:30 - 2:30p at Inner City Tennis. Registration is now open! Cost is $25 (for STPC members) for 2 hours of drill and play including video analysis of your serve. To register call ICT at 612-825-6844 or click here.

Planning has begun for the 2016 edition of STPC Summer Team Tennis. This is a 3.0-4.0 league that plays on Tuesday mornings from 9-11AM from mid-June to mid-August. Each team consists of four male and four female players. Each player plays one pro-set of doubles and one of mixed-doubles per match. Team scores are the number of sets won, that number being added each week to the season totals. At season's end, the league champion is the team that has won the most sets. Our April Spring Fling at Fred Wells was attended by over 20 members. During the event we signed up 2 new members! Once again it was a very fun social. Pam did her usual outstanding job of organizing the event and provided great after-tennis snacks.
