Dear Friends,
I wanted to send a final reminder about this Saturday's free program at the Kansas City Library. And, I wanted to bring to your attention this very nice article by Patrick Neas which appeared in different editions of the Kansas City Star including this Friday's Preview section.
I do hope you can join me as we honor the Bard by showing how Shakespeare's concerns about love, art, faith, and mortality shaped the creation of my book of sonnets, "Thanks for Noticing", and how Shakespeare's wisdom can guide our own lives.
And remember, you, the audience, will vote to determine which of the terrific sonnet readers will receive a special cash prize for their efforts.
See you Saturday,
Vern
