NCATS and FDA Create Database of Medicinal Ingredients

NCATS and Food and Drug Administration researchers have built and are expanding a database system that catalogs the ingredients in medicinal products. The Global Ingredient Archival System aims to make it easier to exchange information about substances in medicines, supporting scientific research on the use and safety of these products.
