1.- Dinner night with the newjersey chapter?
A Diner causerie night will take place with the NJ chapter on April 30th 2016. The theme is: low back pain and will be presented by:

Anesthesiologist and pain management Specialist.

2.- FLORIDA GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING
The general Assembly meeting of the florida chapter took place on April 23rd,2016. 25 people attended the meeting and a vote to change the association name from “Association des medecins Haitiens a l’etranger” to “Association medicale Haitienne a l’etranger” was called upon at the request of Dr.Micheline Dole and Dr. Jean-Mary, supported by Dr. Ducarmel Augustin. The proposition was voted unanimously.
3.-NEW NOMINATIONS TO THE BOARD OF AMHE:
The Florida chapter has nominated Francelot Moise,MD and Yves Jodesty,MD To the board of AMHE.The Newyork Chapter had already nominated Karl Latortue ,MD to the Board of AMHE. We Congratulate them on their new position and wish them luck.

Medecins et infirmieres ont toujours joue un role preponderant dans la dispensation des soins de santé dans une communaute determinee.Tout en appreciant l’apport non moins negligeable des auxiliaries en soins de santé et des autres membres, grands et petits personels,evoluant dans la sphere medicale,nous allons cette fois nous concentrer sur les liens etroits et privilegies qui ont toujours existe entre medecins et infirmieres,deux entites de toujours, au Coeur (en avant-garde constant) des transformations qu’a subies la science medicale au cours des recentes decennies.. Sickle Cell Clinic Project in Léogane, Haiti
The Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad (AMHE) has launched its first crowdfunding project to build a Sickle Cell Clinic in Léogane, Haiti by 2016. We believe that giving health is building wealth. In this way, the people affected by sickle cell can hope to live healthier lives and overcome the throes of poverty. (More)
