Welcome to our new look website and newsletter. In our 30th year of service, we thought we would revamp our website and keep you in touch with what we do. The new easy to navigate site and the information contained will help you readily identify what we do and support your referral or inquiry. Through the newsletter we aim to keep you up-to-date with new information and service offerings, and to share our clients’ success stories.
As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we reflect on the humble beginnings of our organisation. Initially known as the Canterbury Bankstown Migrant Resource Centre, based in offices in what was the old Canterbury Library in Beamish Street, Campsie, the small team of workers specialised in migrant support. Today, our head office is still in Campsie, and we have offices in Ashfield, Bankstown and Condell Park. Our services include migrant settlement, family services, tenant advocacy, financial counselling, employment support and much more. We work with a broad network of services and specialist agencies to support our clients and we have a strong emphasis on community engagement through our many activities.
