A Work/Life Newsletter To Help You Reach Your Potential
Dear Friends,

When I was at the Good Plus Foundation’s Fatherhood luncheon yesterday, Jerry Seinfeld talked about “Dadness,” my new favorite term. He joked that “If kids think Dad is cool, something has gone terribly wrong.” I like this idea. Better to be the loving, flexible and reliable parent than the cool one.

SAM'S CENTS

Dress for Success

You are busy. Your life includes some combo of working, friending, parenting, partnering and volunteering so you have zero extra time for a wardrobe crisis.

Here is how to avoid wasting time while looking great:

1. Find your go-to look, one that makes you feel confident and is simple. Once you choose it, buy it in a multitude of colors and prints. Voila.

2. Pick out your clothes the night before. Designer Liz Lange even recommends choosing your week of outfits on Sunday night. “Look at your schedule for the week and decide what you will wear each day."

3. Get ready once and hit the day running. Choose outfits that could take you from work to your daughter’s soccer game to date night. Hint: No wrinkle fabrics
