Communing with Nature

The Trees Sing

The leaves stir, moved by a gentle breeze,

Listen! There’s a voice of silence in-between,

The trees sing, as the breeze weaves the stories.

"By being in nature, mindful and consciously aware, we are communing with All that is, the Great All. We commune through vibration, Universal Life Energy, chi. Every cell, every fiber, every mental and emotional frequency of our being resonances with Universal Life Energy in nature and it harmonizes us. In nature we naturally synchronize with the earth energies, reestablishing balance between our auric field and earth energies. Our emotional and mental vibrations rises. We are feeding our soul. Healing ourselves.

And as we resonant, we can gain access to the wisdom in nature. Nature has a silent voice. And, we can hear it when we are quiet inside, mindful, open and receptive. How much we can hear is a matter of our state of consciousness.

Being quiet and mindful, we can get inspirations through our Higher Self. It may be a mental voice, colors, music, visions, or understanding."

"A human being, an animal, a plant, a mineral, a flower nodding in the field, a beautiful waterfall sparkling over the sullen rocks, a sunset blazing amid the clouds, a distant constellation glittering against the dark Sky - each is a window opening upon the Infinite, to the one who sees with an understanding eye."

Eugene Fersen
Is there a GOD?, page 223

An Earthly smell
The birds singing -
crickets chirping.
It's never too quiet.
The wind in the trees.
The deer prancing.
The different colors of leaves -
the different colors of trees.
In wide open - grassy fields,
beautiful flowers begin to bloom ...

“It means that WE SHOULD ALWAYS JUDGE RIGHTLY, ALWAYS KEEP TO THE MAIN ISSUES, ALWAYS TAKE THE ESSENTIAL AND GIVE TO THE NON-ESSENTIAL ITS PROPER PLACE. Above all, it means that WE SHOULD NOT LOSE OURSELVES IN DETAILS, that we should retain a proper mental perspective, because to lose oneself in details is one of the besetting sins of Humanity."

Inspiration: Our daily life is often filled with schedules, appointments, chores and obligations. It is easy to lose track of what is important in the hustle and bustle, and let opportunities slip by.

I was reminded of this when I was stopped by three trains in one day. As I was sitting there thinking about being late, I decided to change my mind and take that gift of time to meditate. Instead of worrying and being frustrated, I took a few minutes to work on my spiritual growth. There are many such opportunities, even during a busy day: waiting in line, being placed on hold during a phone call, etc. Those 5 minute meditation breaks really changed my attitude!

Question: Have I taken advantage of every opportunity to work on my spiritual growth today?

Knowing Our Higher Self

It takes effort on our part to know we are one with our brothers and sisters of this earth! Some are more troubled than others, as we see in dark radicals. Yet, they too have a soul just like we do. It may take them a long time to Evolve, but we must hold Hope in our hearts and minds that they too will one day be free of darkness.

We don't want to be afraid in our short lifetimes, we want to be free and happy. We should try to understand our abilities and choices to grow and awaken from the cloudiness and murk of the subconsciousness we've let dominate our thinking. It's really not hard to do, but it takes an effort on our part.

We have the opportunity to be a Light to the world as True Lightbearers. We must not be Lightkeepers, or we will mostly stay the same and hum drum. What ever comes down the river we accept, and in no time the human world dominates our thinking completely. Then we wonder why we're not happy and joyous!

Life is joyous as it should be! We all have karma, yet only we can change our attitudes, our prejudices, our separation from knowing Our Higher Self! Start small and aim big because we are endless as The Great Law intended us to be!

Always Love, MRLB

“Being alive is so extraordinary I don’t know why people limit it to riches, pride, security—all of those things life is built on. People miss so much because they want money and comfort and pride, a house and a job to pay for the house. And they have to get a car. You can’t see anything from a car. It’s moving too fast. People take vacations. That’s their reward—the vacation. Why not the life?”

Jack Gilbert, 1925-2012
American poet
