2011 Cycling Membership Renewals
With 2011 just around the corner, don’t forget to renew your Cycling Australia membership. With 24/7 insurance, membership is particularly handy to have over the Christmas/New Year period or to have if you’re going away like to the Tour Down Under. Membership is essential to have so you can compete in the first races of the new year. There are crits from Wednesday, 5 January 2011, and two road races in January – on 15 January (Uriarra Homestead) and 29 January (first race of the new summer Twilight Series). Go to the membership page of the Canberra Cycling Club and follow the links, including for information on insurance: http://www.canberracyclingclub.org.au/membership/index.asp?IntCatId=19

CCC Criterium Series 8th December
Firstly a big apology to all those D grade riders who hung around to race this week. We really had no choice but to call your race off. With lower numbers out this week due to the rainy conditions it was a night for the break away to stay away. 147 riders took to the circuit in what can only be described as wet and windy conditions particularly for the grades later in the night. A massive shout out to the crew from V mobile who assisted with the marshal duties centre track in less than ideal conditions. All the stats and results for the race and any previous race can be found here: http://critsonline.com/.
Current standings:
-
Top Individual:Ryan Gormly, (Team MSL1) 91 points
-
Top Team:Team MSL1 – 212 points

Always happy to try and accommodate more results and in response to a request via email (you can probably guess where the email came from ) I have included what some would consider to be thetruegauge of squad superiority, thePoint per Rider (PPR)ranking
