What's the latest?

The Jockey's Edge

Have you ever wondered if jockey's read the form before a race, and if they ever look at past performances? Well, of course they do, and jockeys ride thousands of races. They are continually handicapping races. I thought it would be a great idea if a jockey handicapped the races for everyone.

As an active jockey for over 15 years, I have been handicapping all sorts of races for my career, and nowadays, I am behind the scenes on the back stretch of the race track every day.

Just being out among the horses, one hears things, as they say. That's why my sheet is called, "The Jockey's Edge." I have an edge other handicappers cannot possibly provide to you.

I will give you my racing insights along with my considerable knowledge and expertise every week, to make sure you come back from the windows a winner!

I call horses 'divine mirrors' - they reflect back the emotions you put in. If you put in love and respect and kindness and curiosity, the horse will return that.     ~Allan Hamilton
