WEAVING ABORIGINAL SONGS & STORIES WITH HEARTDANCE YOGA & SOUND HEALING
The $30 fee we receive from this workshop is used to help fund our programs with vulnerable communities and to support our refugee and aboriginal musicians

This very special workshop will be dedicated in loving memory of Tiga Bayles, a First Nations social justice warrior and a father and mentor to Binowee. Tiga led and fought furiously for the rights of aboriginal people, from land rights and health services, to justice and education.  Tiga has left behind a legacy that will touch generations to come. We will embrace the power of love, and in the language of Birri Gubba, we say good passage on your journey with Wadda Mooli.

Sacred aboriginal songs and stories will be united with the movements of yoga and sound healing to take you on a transformative and powerful journey. Binowee, a proud aboriginal musician and storyteller will lead the workshop with her powerful song and strong loving spirit.

Musician & storyteller: Binowee, a proud Aboriginal woman, a descendant of the Wonnarua and Bundjalung Nations of NSW and the Birri Gubba and Kungalu Nations of QLD. Binowee has been sharing her culture and performing traditional songs and dances within Australia and internationally. In 2010 she was the Indigenous Australian Representative for the United Nations Assembly on Climate Change in the Phillipines

Yoga teachers, sound healers & Live art installation artist: Sandra Morales, Tamara Oyarce, Felicity Hale & Carlos Agamez will explore sacred songs, north and south american indigenous music, tibetan and crystal bowls with yoga and kalari to awaken ancient memories and expand awareness.

Heartdancers is a charity that provides music, dance and yoga classes to disadvantaged & general communities. We invite you to visit

"I am dedicating this workshop to my mother and father who have been reunited after 15 years" Binowee Bayles
