After a deeply damp and dingy winter the sweet breath of summer can be felt as a glimmer of possibility in the air… at last! The bees are bringing in dusty brown and yellow pollen and the birds are singing on Small World Theatre’s sedum roof.
This season we present an elegant programme of arts, movement, live music and children’s events. Including talented Welsh musicians such as jazz band Burum and the launch of Julie Murphy’s lyrical new album. Join us on the dance floor at our next big band night with London-based Tashkezar and their explosive mixture of all things Eastern.
August is full of family fun including a second chance to see our new family puppet show The Lightning Path! We will continue ‘rewilding’ children through a series of outdoor activities in Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire: including Wild Forest Days where danger training, rope bridges, fires and foraging feature. We’ll also run our Wild Beach Days producing monsters, labyrinths, kites and the ever popular Dinosaur Making and Racing.
