"5" things a child needs to see...
Once again it is time to remember the woman in our life that we call "mother." From my personal and biblical perspective, this is THE most important role that a woman can have. Being a mother is a very special blessing and raising a child is meant to be a rewarding experience that brings joy and fulfillment.

I believe God has placed a small hallow place in the heart of a woman that cannot be filled outside the role of motherhood.  For those who are unable to have children or for the woman who chooses to remain unmarried, God provides a special avenue where she is able to "spiritually guide" and love a child in need.

I have gone through the many years of Bible study notes in my journals and desire to pass on these "5" things that I have gleaned from His Word.
As our child grows and we prayerfully endeavor to teach them our "5" things, we must also remember things they need to see in us.
  • Our children need to "see" our sincere love of Jesus who dwells within.
  • Our children need to "see" our boundries in life, that we will stand on His Word before that of the world.
  • Our children need to "see" our spiritual strength & faith when circumstances of life try to make us crumble in weakness.
  • Our children need to "see" our servant's heart for Him.
As we pray for the ability to be a mother who is a strong woman of faith - we can know that we are leaving our child a "spiritual inheritance" by the pattern of our life and the power of His Word!  That is a mother's gift to her child.
For many mother's who have grown children who are far from God (as my two son's), we continue in pray for their hearts and eye's to be open.  It may not be in my lifetime, but I do believe that God will answer a mother's plea, and in this I find comfort. As I wait, I will reach out in His likeness to others who are walking down the road of the world. Always in His service and peace in His timing.
A mother's pray clings to her child for life.
A mother takes the place of many -
but none can take
her place.
My greatest blessings
