San Rafael City Council hears from County re: Watershed Program

San Rafael City Council will hear from Laurie Williams, Marin County's Planner for their Gallinas Creek Watershed Program, on Monday May 2 regarding the status of this program. They WILL be talking about taking out the ditch! If you can come to support this, please make that effort. The Council meeting starts at 7 pm. We are agenda item 3.

The City Council will also hear from SMART about their planned riparian restoration near the Civic Center platform and along the creek out of the Meadows area. Please come and support this restoration! We have lobbied a long time to get SMART to do some mitigation in our watershed. They are working with Pt. Blues' STRAW program, which we wholly support.
