DAG | May 2nd Recital Picture Week!

READY, SET, Go!!!!!!!!!!

It's Recital Picture week, May 2 -7 and we do ask for your positiviTEA as we ALL get through a fun and exciting next couple of weeks!!!! During your dancer's set recital class(es), we will be taking both group and individual pictures. If your dancer attends more than one ballet class per week, one of their classes has been marked as their recital class and that is the day they will need to bring their costume to class with them. We also ask that their hair be put up as it will be done during the recital. Make sure you have clean Revolution Prima Pink Tights for ballet. Stop by our DAG office this week to pick up new Revolution Prima Pink for all of the ballet classes, or Dark Tan for Jazz and Tap classes.

If you would like to sign up for an extra individual picture session for sisters, friends etc., you may visit the DAG office or call 297 -1635 to sign up for an appointment on Saturday May 7. Times will be from 9:00am – 10:00am and 12:00pm – 12:45pm. Appointments will be made every 5 min!

Recital Cast Passes will be handed out in your child's recital dance class this week. These ARE VERY IMPORTANT. THE PARENT PASS WILL ALLOW YOU TO PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF YOUR CHILD. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE UNTIL REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE DAY.

It is our plan to hold the majority of the recital day classes in the Black Box this week, meaning your child will be bring their recital costumes and ballet bag into the Black Box room. We will have it set up for mutilpe classes. This will make it easy for communication and it's across from where the photos will be taken in the King Studio. It is also our goal to be able to run-through their dances in the Black Box to fellow dancers.

Non Dressingroom Helper parents (no siblings please) may help with hair in the Black Box if coming directly from school. But after they are all set, we ask that ony Dressingroom Helpers will be allowed in the Black Box (or anther studio if in an alternate room). Please make every effort to do hair and make-up before getting to the studio, if possible. All classes plan to finish at their regular time, we do ask again a bit of patience if we are running behind. We have it pretty well planeed out but things do happen:)

Also, only teachers will be allowd in the photo room (King studio). Dressingroom Helpers can help watch over the students when they are waiting.

DROP OFF and PICK UP Dos and Don’ts

Parents do not go inside with their dancers for rehearsals or shows.
Parents will need to SHOW their parent pass (Handed out this week during their ballet recital class or Lyrical, Hip-Hop or Contemporary if not taking ballet) to the Arena parking lot attendant to drop off their dancer on Saturday May 14.
When you pull up to the drop off point, a volunteer will help your dancer out of the car. Have them ready. This is not the time to get the bag out of the trunk, wish them well etc. Think school car pool line we need to move quickly.
You need to have their dance bag with shoes and other items along with a their costumes on a hanger labeled with their names ready when they hop out of the car. For Rehearsal on Tuesday May 10 and Saturday May 14, all dancers need to arrive with their hair and make up done dressed in a leotard and tights with STREET clothes and shoes over their tights and leotard. NEVER wear dance shoes outside.
Dancers who have rehearsal Tuesday May 10 will be picked up in the DAG entrance (doors to the left of the box office) Parents will park in the VIP arena lot and walk up to the doors. Show their parent pass and pick up their dancer.
Following each performance Dancers will be picked up in the roped off pick up are outside of section 100 in the arena concourse.

FINANCIAL Touch in. All families who have selected to pay tuition in installments your last installment will be due May 1st. Please make sure that your account is paid. All accounts must be paid to a zero balance by MAY 10.

If you have not already, The Recital Performance fee of $40.00 is PAST DUE. If you have paid your tuition by a yearly or semester payments this fee has already been paid.
