What is a spiritual medium? 
Most people are familiar with psychic mediums who may be channels for spirit communication at a variety of levels. Psychic mediums who give readings and messages from those in the spirit realm are not spiritual mediums. Spiritual mediums, like John of God, are healers with the mediumistic capacity to hold the vibration of the spirit communicating through their body and allow the spirit to do healing directly on a person(s) via the medium's physical vessel when put into a trance state (conscious or unconscious).

Although all mediums are psychics, not all psychics are mediums. I've met few psychics who want to develop their mediumship because the idea of giving up control of their bodies in any capacity does not appeal to them. Mediumship is not something to play. You must be discerning as to which spirits you allow to use your body in any capacity. Thankfully, I have had the guidance and support of the Casa spirits behind my spiritual mediumship development for many years now.

Kathy’s Mediumship
Most healers are not mediums and can only carry the frequencies for which they have been attuned to or trained in. I started out that way, not realizing my mediumistic capacity. I didn't know I was a medium until I went to the Casa over 7.5 years ago. The Casa spirits have been evolving my mediumship and healing abilities exponentially fast to prepare for my larger mission in life which will be explained later in my book "Evolution of a Medium" which I'm still working on.

For now, I am a conscious trance medium, allowing high vibrational spirits to communicate and heal through my body. These spirits not only work with me but through me as a vessel to channel their energy. It’s teamwork. As a medium between the material and spirit realms, the spirits literally share my body in order to heal or communicate with those in our realm. It has taken me over 7 years to achieve this ability at the level where I am now, all thanks to the Casa spirits and God's will that I fulfill my soul contract.

My mediumship is used in my spiritual work in a variety of capacities: Crystal Bed Therapy sessions; Spiritual Healing sessions; John of God Movie Nights and/or talks about the Casa; and Casa Meditation Groups.

Crystal Bed Therapy Session
The majority of my clients enjoy receiving healing directly by the Casa spirits via Crystal Bed Therapy sessions. As a Casa medium, the Casa spirits use my mediumistic ability to generate a very high vibration which supports the spirits to do deep work, similar to what happens when people get crystal bed sessions at the Casa. I am a battery for the spirits and cannot cross my arms or legs while a client is in session, allowing the energy to easily flow through my body to support the work. The Crystal Bed is a “portable spiritual hospital” with me as the generator.

My home is a spiritual hospital. After years of amping up the space, I do not have to wear white in my home with clients even though it is recommended they wear white to get the most from their healing session. When I leave my home, I wear white to ensure the Casa spirits can easily use me as a generator to keep the vibration high in the space where I am. When I travel for group Crystal Bed Events, the building where I am becomes a temporary spiritual hospital.

On rare occasions, clients have received spiritual interventions on my crystal bed. This is the equivalent of a spiritual operation and must be respected by following formal Casa protocols which I am very well versed in as a Casa guide. Read Crystal Bed Therapy testimonials.

Spiritual Healing Session
When someone is drawn to work with me in a healing session, I always explain that I don't know what is going to happen because I am just a vessel for spirit who works with and through my body. In a spiritual healing session with a client, spirit channels unique vibrations similar to attunements through my body for the client's highest good at a soul level while I am not touching the client. Once I place my hands on the client's shoulders, I enter into a light trance in order to allow a particular spirit, who is a saint, to enter my body and work on the client directly. When the spirit's work is complete, I am able to move again. The high vibration of this spirit often knocks people out and they feel very light-headed after the session. John of God Movie Nights and/or Talks about the Casa
Whenever I speak about the work of John of God and the mission of the Casa or show the movie "Healing: Miracle, Mysteries and John of God", the Casa spirits use my mediumship to generate a very high vibrational healing space for attendees. People think they are just coming to watch a movie or hear a talk about John of God and soon find themselves feeling heat, dizziness, pain in areas of their body that are injured, or simply cannot keep their eyes open. I always ask people to sit with their arms and legs uncrossed and be open to receive healing. Casa Meditation Groups
Since January 2015, I have hosted a private Casa Meditation group at my home which has allowed me to get accustomed to working with spirit as a trance channel for longer durations. I have been sharing my mediumship with a select group who I sensed were ready and had the discipline for this level of healing work. As I mentioned, I am a conscious trance medium. This means that spirit communicates and gives out healing through my body. I hear and feel what is happening during the communication, however I do not remember the details of the spirit communication later. Some of the spirits that work with me at this level are doctors, saints and Ascended Masters. The spirits have stated that many more will teach and work through me.

I will begin sharing my mediumship with larger groups of people monthly at a Casa Meditation group in Burke, VA at the Intuitive Wellness Center. I was recently reminded how much I despise rush hour traffic so these events will occur on a Saturday evening to allow myself an easy commute as well as others who might not .

On Saturday 23 April, I shared this channeled meditation event outside my home for the first time with a group of 15 people in Harrisburg, PA. Many did not know what to expect; all left feeling uplifted and highly energized. Three spirits -- a surgeon, a saint and Ascended Master Kwan Yin -- instructed and gave healing energies to all attendees. I look forward to sharing this form of my mediumship with those who are ready, but especially with those who have a connection or draw to the Casa spirits.
