Hi <<First Name>>,

At the beginning of April I took the opportunity to go freelance. Making my boat my base in and around Manchester, I am setting out on an adventure to help organisations do things differently. Using my experience of working with young people, community groups and leading teams, I am bringing all this together to energetically work with organisations to:
  • Make the most of the web and social media,
  • Plan for the future,
  • Make a bigger social impact
  • Design and deliver training.

If you know someone or an organisation that is currently grappling with or wanting to make progress on some of the areas mentioned then it would be great if you could introduce us; the different social and email links are just below!

What's the point of your social media?

Stop wasting time and money on social media was the call that triggered me to start a series of 3 blogs about how to make sure you invest wisely in your social media.

Many people just don't know where to start with their social media. In order to make the most of this powerful tool I believe you need to have a clear purpose for your channels and then you can thrive in a space that you can become famous for, driving more success to your organisation. Do you have a nattering army?

Social Media should become a skill like being able to use excel, word or outlook; something everyone in an organisation can do.

Is your social media person overwhelmed or swamped? Do you struggle to generate great content to tell your story? Perhaps social media should become a skill like using excel/word/outlook that everyone uses? Check out this second in a three part blog series on investing resources into social media.
